The use of international standards became a popular management tool in the 90s. These standards came to the Faroe Islands a bit later. VRG consulted Sp/f Heri Thomsen on the first ISO certification in the Faroe Islands. Today we have the largest market share with regards to consulting on international standards in the Faroe Islands, and we advise on food safety, environmental management, work environment and quality management standards. 

National and international producers of food are regularly faced with tougher requirements for their quality systems, which need to follow the rules and regulations of the HACCP standard. VRG has helped several Faroese companies to acquire the HACCP and ISO 22000 certification.
